A Branded or Generic Medicine?

We all know that Generic equivalents are cheaper than Brand Name drugs. Many people hesitate in using a Generic drug believing that Brand names are superior in quality. Generic medicines might look different from Brand name medications, however the appearance does not alter the effectiveness of the medicine.

Would you use Generic medicines or Brand name ones for your personal consumption?

 

I would like to mention that  Generic  drugs  are  copies  of brand-name drugs that have exactly the  same   dosage,   intended   use,   effects,  side  effects,  route  of administration,  risks,  safety, and strength as the original drug. In other  words,  their  pharmacological  effects are exactly the same as those of their brand-name counterparts.
I am using Generic Cialis for a long time and I am very satisfied. Why  should I spend a lot of money buying Brand medicines when I can have the same results using generic medicines? Before giving a try to generic drugs I was concerned why  they are  often substantially cheaper than the brand-name versions. Later I understood that  generic  drugs  are  only cheaper because the manufacturers have not had the expenses of developing and marketing a new drug.
Generic drugs can have different colors and flavors. But the active ingredient is the same in both preparations. I am very satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of Generic drugs. Moreover, buying generic drugs I can save a lot of money.

Dear ChristyA, I advise you to give a try to generic drugs, I am sure you'll change your opinion :)

But, still in my opinion considering Generic medicines remains to be skeptical.  You’re right, I should try them to have more facts in my favor.

I agree wit Robertino. I used Generic Xanax when I had depression and the results were great! I have passed successfully through this problem without any adverse effects or anything else. I feel good and think now that life is Wonderful!

In case that If you need some medicines for a long time you can get a good discount for your purchases,

quality and effectiveness of Generic drugs are the same, but buying generic drugs I can save a lot of money.

I also vote for Generic Medicines.
